Great job Trigger Happy! I've been looking for the correct knot for a long time. There's a tutorial floating around here for an incorrect pattern which is what I ended up going with. It looks cool in its own right, and I'm not looking to recreate Hudson's armour. But for those who are, your attempt is the closest yet! |

Here it is as requested. the youtube link. So basically you make a loop then feed the paracord threw it and create another loop and so on and so on. here is the video. thanks to Grant or M41Aslinger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0I_u6tRntc |

I finally got around to trying my hand at this. Not quite as pretty as the screen used image (might need to tighten up the loops a bit), but the video was extremely helpful! Thank you for that. Attachment: Attachment:

This looks like a loose version of the horsemanship knot I use on my ropes...

I know I'm resurrecting a dead thread, but .... I crochet. That's basically just a foundation chain. |

Resurrected threads are the best! The only thing I will say is the reference photo off the screen used set may not be 100% accurate. Upon the reveal of the screen used knife from the propstore, the cord was actually leather and the knot looks a bit different? Maybe it is the same knot just twisted to the side so it looks different (clearly I'm not a knot expert) Attachment:

Nope. Still a crochet chain, just from different angles. |
