Hi Guys

Just wondering has anyone tried converting an M88 style helmet to a CM helmet?

The reason i ask is i found a cheap plastic copy of an M88 helmet in the back of the airsoft cupboad and wondered if it was worth giving it a go.

if anyone has previously tried this and made a thread about it could you please point me in the direction, as my apparently search skills suck :D

converting a plastic helmet is a lot easier than converting a steel one ! :lol:

if you need cheap neck plate , and plate on the front of the helmet , i have these laying around made from vac form plastic ... all painted up. drop me a PM

Only difference I can forsee being a issue is the raised parts over the ears (to allow for headsets) that are on a m88 maybe use a trimmed front plate. The normal lobster plates and omitt the ear peice and use a suitable looking headset .

the helmet that i'm wearing in my avatar is actually made from two plastic vietnam style helmets,the first one is used as a normal helmet,the second is cut up with a dremel to make all the extra plates.
