The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Starting working on some grenades, planning on getting some more in and possibly some alternates 3d-printed.

There's a few variant types in the Tech Manual, and i've seen a few props around the interwebs but can't find any for now.

Who's done some, looking for ideas! For now i'm working with just different paintjob on caps ;)

I love it when this question pops up. It brings back warm feelings of nostalgia.

I can't remember who the vendor was, but someone had made incendiary, and poison gas grenades some years ago. I lobbed one of each at the Colony Sweep this year. I'll try to take some pics this weekend.

Dom, didn't you once know a guy who made some? I seem to remember he was on the board for a little while.

Which ones? My aluminum ones, or the incendiary/poison?

The aluminum ones were made by a buddy of mine whose machine shop closed due to Chinese competition and had to liquidate his whole kit and caboodle almost 10 years ago. He also supplied the dog tag blanks which I personalized.

Yeah, the aluminum versions. Sorry to hear what happened to his shop. :(

Cheers for the link to that thread, mate! Some good inspiration there.

Would love to see the Poison/Incendiary grenades when you can dom. :)

For now i'm just doing a white cap regular for Incendiary, Blue cap for Bouncing Frag, but i'd like a few more unique designs to cart around.

Edit - finished a couple regular grenades and cap repaints, decided i liked the design dom posted in that thread for the Baton round so much i'd do one out of the plastic shotgun shell i pulled out of my airsoft pulsie.

Were those designs based on anything or just extrapolations from the tech manual? Either way great, really like those designs.
