The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Cool photos-

(the originals on the site are even larger but I thought I'd post these here for easy reference. This forum only allows for 1025 wide images.)

Fantastic! It's great to see the detail up close... I wonder where all the other gear ended up? I know a lot was sold off... But there must be helmets and all sorts of things collecting dust somewhere in cupboards in houses!

What, do you have some special heads up? I must have missed it by seconds from it being listed.

Glad it went to a good home Harry.

No, it wasn't me. I have Drake's one though. They're identical except Drakes eye-cup has the eye painted on it of course.

Items like this don't go on the Store front. It was probably turned around quickly to a present customer on their books. I've bought several items that way and then the sale is posted on their site, which can be quite sometime after the deal is done.

This site lists previous Propstore sales, but hasn't got that headset listed yet:

http://myproparchives.com/science-ficti ... 80s/aliens

You have to register to see the price of any that have been sold.

Once the amount it sold for is announced you might see why I didn't buy it!
