My brother and I both got the Kenner ALIEN for Christmas that year. I eventually sold mine years ago. My brother still has his in the box, with the little poster it came with. Uh, yeah, 18+18=24? LoL! |

When I was nine years old, a neighbour of mine had the 18 inch Kenner figure... and it was scary! But THIS... THIS IS 24 INCHES! It's going to be even SCARIERER-ER!  Kevin |

I never had the Kenner "Big Chap", but I did snag a couple of the first plastic model kits that were produced shortly after the film's release. They were pretty scary too, in fact I believe they were actually pulled off the shelves not long after due to "parental complaints". Hah! Look what they're selling in toy stores now!!! Anyway, they were released again years later. Still have the original kits in storage somewhere back home. |

So this is going to be as big as the NECA Big Chap but look like the original Kenner Big Chap? That's a lot of Chaps. I have an original Kenner "Chap", but it's missing the motherlovin dome. Someone on eBay was selling replacements of the dome but were asking for the dome what I paid for the figure itself! |

That figure scared the crap out of me as a kid. I avoided the toy aisle it was in because of it's creepy face staring down from the top shelf. *shudder* Ironic because of my now involvement in the Alien(s) community.
