Let me introduce you to a very close friend of mine and survivor of two drops: My Spulse rifle.

There are many ones like this one (not really), but this is mine! :)

Thanks to Spat for making this amazing and durable kit.

It started with a resin kit and a question. Could we add a shroud and metal parts?
Thanks to pulseriflefan for providing support, friendship and answering the question with Yes!

At the time I bought it the SPulse didn’t came with a movable trigger and this was good for me.

It made me think what I could add apart from having a moveable trigger.

The part list:
Spat’s resin SPulse Rifle kit (no counter, non moveable trigger)
SD Studio: Stock, Shroud (yes shrouds), barrel vent
Lightbender Counter (on/off switch, mag insert detachtion, 99->95 on insert, and counting to 0 when the trigger is pulled).
Power LED for the Thompson flash.
Original Spas 12 grip (thanks Gef!)
Spas 12 cage, moveable trigger and launcher front build by pulseriflefan.
Plus so many other things build along the way.
Plenty of screws! Only the magnets have been glued on.
Original Thompson mag (on a resin mag base).
Dasiy shootgun (for the sound and the weight)

Lots of fun. Again thanks pulseriflefan.

So here we go (it started with resin to be painted in OD and later when more and more parts being replaced the current version was repainted BB).

This is how it looked at the beginning after adding the first non resin parts.

Moveable metal switches for auto/single and safety (=on/off switch)

Shrouds covering original Thompson mag (micro switch to detect mag insert for lightbender counter). Added first wiring for testing.

You can see how good the lightbender counter fits in once the Spulse resin parts have been made to fit into the shrouds.
For the mag part only minor changes where needed for these SPulse parts.
Many changes where needed to make the original Thompson mag fit and slide in.

The moveable trigger (and the wiring for the micro switch):

If you’re not an idiot using brute force the trigger is more than robust.

First test assembly (counter on, counter cover taken off here):

Slam it in real hard (magnets will hold it in place):

Amazing cage made by pulseriflefan:

From the second assembly.
Still missing SD stock, Spas grip, shootgun and final painting.

Time to get a Pelican case:

SD Studio stock with Uzi stock adjustment ( the “UZI Spannschieber” was one of the many great ideas from pulseriflefan).

Thanks for your time. Hope you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the video link. It brings back memories. :D

Your Cage is an amazing build.

As you could see for yourself it fits so well together with Daisy and the Spas 12 grip.
Thanks! :D
