I had this nice resin VP and thought it should match the look of a pulse rifle. I know it’s no screen accurate, but I think it looks cooler.

Check out page three of this thread, I actually just did the same thing a week or so ago! viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12056&start=50 I think it looks great, and really ties the whole thing together. Great avatar too! |

I was watching the "Making of Aliens" video on youtube today and there is a sequence where the prop guy is showing off the lineup of weapons. He talks about the VP70 and looking at the video I could swear there looks like a two-tone finish on there. https://youtu.be/J43vXq-Cvfo?t=3m16s  Is this just an instance where two different materials looking weird on camera? |
