Horrocks's USCM Helmet Modification We've all had that problem with the earpiece/earflap flopping around. And I think I've got the simplest fix to it yet. No tools or trips to the hardware store for this Marine!  I used a USMC "Boot Band" and fed it between the helmet and the earflap's strap, then looped the hooks around the liner mounts, connecting back to the boot band. I get a super cheap, "field expedient" fix to the flappy earpiece that is completely just finessing a boot band into place. |

I did something similar to my old helmet with a piece of elastic. |
