Thought it might be of interest and don't know if anyone already new about this. Couldn't find any threads mentioning it

Ripleys leather jacket was made by a UK based company, and they still make them:

For those interested they also made Indy's jacket, (I have one, it's great:)) amongst other things.

I bought my Indy jacket there 4 years ago, since then it's been on various trips to Italy and greece (my partner is Italian), as well as round the UK, and it's stood up great:). When I bought it we went to the workshop in Kent and Peter Botwright was there so he hauled out some of the work he had done for films like Star Wars. We spent a really cool couple of hours with him before he gave us a lift back to the train station:)

I'd love the X-1 jacket haha:)
