The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Great idea. I suppose none of us are truly ever "done" to be able to post a complete list of achievements, but a 'greatest hits vol 1' is a terrific idea for signature content.

I realized I was having trouble keeping track of the stuff I've done (I was making Dietrich's Medkit??), so I thought I would try to bring some order to the chaos. Honestly it was your ultimate EU thread that inspired me Terran.

Cool, so now I wont feel bad about blatantly stealing your idea when I finish my latest rounds of projects!

Please do! I am in awe of PVB's ability to find stuff with the search function, but for the rest of us a cheat sheet can really come in handy.

Too bad there isn't a thread like this that has each piece of kit organized under a different heading, with all of the relevant threads under said headings. Course, that would take a lot of work lol.

With the exception of the massive Dropship helmet build and the Service C thread (both in the archive), there aren't any definitive threads on how to construct specific things. There are certainly lots of great threads out there though, and you could make a roundup of what you've found most useful in your journey. I wish I'd done that from the start, but I didn't realize how quickly threads get "lost".

Yeah, that's just it. Recent threads I read are now like 3 or 4 pages back!
