The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

well im done with my marine for now. next step would be to get a set of armor from spat in the near future. i took my idea from this from the colonial marines game where the smart-gunner's under vest is black instead of green.

i experimented with different pouches and im still undecided on which pistol to use. one is a 1911 with a front comp the other one is more of a hi-capa type with a lam on it. also im pretty much in love with my shotgun (which ill use as is until i can get the funds to make it into an ithaca)

i used an old plate carrier anubian was generous enough to donate to me a couple of years back, for my leg guards im using some surplus british riot pads and im using an old headset i picked up from a surplus shop way back in the day. i added some random bits like the molle clip and the pocket knife to add a bit of character and fill some of the dead space.

i put a set of y suspenders onto the vest to add a bit to the look and be able to put my replica m9 bayonet on it. my mom was gracious enough to help make my grenade bandoleer which i filled with spat-nades (which still need striping). i put patches in places where i have seen in the m69 vests, i used the delta with the cradle patch because i am waiting for someone to make sephora patches and i added a screaming eagle pin on the collar and a bugstoper pin on the mag pouch on the vest. i tried 2 setups so far and im trying to figure out which looks best.

any and all comments are welcone, just remember this is temporary untill i get a set of spar armor or maybe get a smart gun

Dressed like that, it reminds me either of USCM special forces, or ex-USCM merc. Where guus can pick their own loadouts and customize them.

Looks good bro....both versions.

Neat!

The Sephora patch is just the Sulaco patch with the name swapped out, so you *could* hand stitch it like I did my Conrad patches:

Not so much, the sulaco patch reads 2nd batt. 9th reg. and you can clearly hear winter say he is from the is 118th batt aboard the sephora. only question is that regiment they are. once that question is answered patches can be made. i could wing it and put a random number but thats just gonna make m e look like a douche the day someone finds out what regiment they are in.

they seem to be in a different regiment than the sulaco crew since they speak of them with little familiarity.

PS: i suck at stitching

Despite what Winter is heard to say, the patches in the game graphics are the same Batt and Reg as the Sulaco, confirmed by Gearbox in this thread:

viewtopic.php?p=191678#p191678

So you could go either way. :)

these are my only pistols currently, my other gun is a S&W revolver with a 6" barrel and wood grips.
