The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

It has been a busy year! Craziest one in a while and 2013 is starting off even more crazy so far!!

So, after much ado...

These should be ready to start shipping next week. I just ordered a fresh hammock of resin (that's the technical unit of measure for resin), so once that gets in, I'll start popping them out. I don't have the graphics for them yet, so I'll be offering the Trackers in 2 styles (just the resin, or with all the detailing bits). Please don't post here asking for prices. I'll post them on the website once it's locked in and I'll start an FS thread in the PX.

BDU's are shipping out and look amazing! I just brought in a new seamstress and she's rocking these!

The new Recon Armor is a hot seller:

Image

And the Light Infantry Armor is also new and people are loving it:

Image

Both those are more mobile versions of the armor that fit smaller men and most women a lot better. Though I'm a big guy, and it fits me! I'll be taking a comparison pic of the Recon Chest as compared to the standard Marine Chest to show the size differences.

I'll also be offering some "Cruz" armor next week. Basically, standard Marine chest and back armor, but with a bridge over the shoulders and no shoulder armor. Kind of a sleeveless Marine!

I have a few other resin kits on the horizon. Still have to get the Flame Unit finished. And looking at doing some headset kits. Still not sure if I want to bother with a MK2 Pulse Rifle. But I do like the idea of other options to replace the grenade launcher....

And I'm evilly tempted to try some WY Merc armor.....

In the meantime, I'm working hard to ship out armor as fast as I can without compromising quality. There's still a long wait, but I'm working on it!

Ok, enough chit chat. Time to crawl back into the shop!

That all depends on how accurate your time machine is!

Not yet. That's the next step. Put it together and take the pics for the tutorial. Maybe we can get the MD Crew to do another video assembly tutorial?!?!?!

I want one of the Motion Trackers (as in I'll take one) but is it possible to make a viewer that can accomodate an Iphone or Ipod Touch? With the new App that just came out, there is no way I'm not going to make a fully (ish) functioning unit.

The slide viewer is a fair bit smaller/squarer than the Touch/iPod, so it'd look a bit weird. :)

Spat, you continue to amaze me with your amazing props. My friend will be very excited to see the news of a motion tracker kit, he's been wanting one for what seems like ages.

Oh that will evaporate when people see my fully functioning tracker screen with inbound bogies pinging away. I can live with the screen being slightly off scale to have that additional functionality. =)

Not to mention with the guts completely contained in the Ipod/Touch, there is nothing saying I couldn't simply buy two screens from Spat and plug and play. One that is "screen accurate" and another that has the slightly less scale "fully functional" display.

All it would take is a large size headphone style connection jack on the main body that the screens can plug into. Pop one screen off and plug the other in and vis-versa

Sadly, if I make it fit a phone, then it's not accurate to the movie and then people cry. I'm sure you could find a way to cut a slot so you can slide your phone in. It might stick out a bit, but it will still look cool.

What was different about Cruz's legs?

And as you can see in that first pic, the slide viewer will have a real 1/4" mono plug molded in. So you can make the slide viewer removable if you use a female plug on the body to jack it in with.
