 Post subject: What color is the crotch pad leather?

I always thought it was just a black leather but looking this pic in comparison to the boots it seems to have more of a greyish quality to it.

Is there anything definitive on this?

It's a vinyl material rather than leather and they're black, but don't look jet black, especially under flash photgraphy.

Ab pad,leg flaps,and neck bindings are Dark Gray.

I got 6 different gray swatches for comparing to the screen used gray when sourcing the material.
