The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Dear All,

There has been mention made in other threads of the text which scrolls behind Ripley at her tribunal when her flight status is taken from her...

Each of the crew members has a history / summary etc and I wondered if anyone had ever managed to fully decipher them...

Cheers all...

Special edition of Alien has a lot of the screens and crew info.

Yup, and the quadrilogy blu rays have them too.

IIRC, someone on here typed them out.

It is great information. The only thing I would change is the log giving an expected arrival time at Acheron.

The cover story was that the Nosromo would happen to divert to LV426, having this listed as a scheduled stop would defeat the object of this.

Given that it's 'company policy' to check distress calls out, and these files were released after Alien, landing on LV-426 would be planned in the eyes of the computer. Planned from the moment the computer received the distress call.

OR

The company planned it all along and that perticular de-tour was classified info to the crew...

The first set of crew dossiers on that page are (as mentioned) somewhat tampered with. Any mention of Ripley's maternity leave etc. is Cameron's invention, not Ridley's. The two histories give different birth places for Ripley, and some name changes too. AL member Jonsey posted a better version of these two histories a while back.
