The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So I know this off subject of the prop but I bought the spy gear ultimate night vision binoculars from a rummage sale and they are nice and actually work in the dark!
https://www.amazon.com/Spy-Gear-Ultimate-Night-Vision/dp/B004M17H6S
It has a video screen inside and I have debated about gutting them or just painting to make them look less like a toy. Mine are the basic first model but later models had the ability to capture images and video. There are a few items in the "toy" line I want to pick up and throw some BB on to add to my collection. Keep and eye out at rummage sales.

Thanks!

Greg

Really nice FERO.
I've found a few for sale, but the prices.... are up there. Well over that cost.
Good score.

(And yeah, The "Spy Gear" / Wild Planet Entertainment brand, had always put out some cool gadgets.
Seems they no longer exist and were bought out by "Spin master toys", which apparently no longer produce spy gear).

Beautiful. I've been looking at the picking up the component pieces (with a view to making a completed prop), but a real non-functioning unit sounds so much easier :)

I'm going to do at least 2 internals around the binocs that I already have.

Might post a PX thread if anyone is interested to fill their shells.
