come on guys! power up those digicams again and lets bring one of the past hottest threads to new life! ok, again here we have my new baby, my self built SD PR. because of some reasons i´m not able to import a fully built and finished SD rifle, so i had to build this thing by myself. now after years of researching and studying SD rifles i can tell you that this babe is "SD"ish down to the last screw. of course painted in original humbrol brown bess. here are some pics of the building process, followed from some of the finished piece. Spring loaded trigger, working mag release and fire/safe full-auto/single selector switches. The magazine is removable, the pump grip slides back and forth and the stock extends. The counter is static set at 95. The entire gun can be broken down into about 9 pieces. It is ingeniously held together with screws and bolts; there is not one drop of glue holding this baby together, and it is strong like bull! Much like Barney's situation, I cannot risk getting a built-up PR through customs Canada, so this was shipped to me piece-by-piece. Final paint job was done by me using pictures of the A3 rifle on Harry's site for inspiration on weathering. The Graffiti was my own idea (yes: "Scarface" is one of my favourite films).
