The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

What I see is roughly Kanji-shaped chipped off paint. Like they all had, white/light grey showing through.

How come you're buddies with Rico Ross, retro? :)

Just rocking Aliens today. I saw a few good shots of Hudsons hinge tattoo during the dropship "ultimate badass" scene...

No screenshots sorry.

Been a while since I've seen, let alone posted in this thread… nice to see it's still going strong and lots of new posts I hadn't seen! I may have a thing or two to add later on... Just want to make sure it hasn't been covered already!

I believe Drake's hat says "THIS END UP", not "SIDE".

Apone has a tattoo on his left forearm but I can't make out what it says/is. Could be a real tattoo.

Frost also has what appears to be a skull with a bloody knife clenched in the teeth that reads "BAD ASS" under it tattooed on his right shoulder.

As good a place as any to ask I guess. Stumbled across this pic of Dietrich and am wondering what that pouch is above the VP70 holster?

It is just her standard 'small pouch', but it does look funny there. I think it is just squished and tilted back so you can't make out the top flap.

In these images it is a bit more clear that it is the 'standard' one.

Just watched the Blu-Ray... verdict is in.

100% CONFIRMED. The Vinyle above Hicks' "cup" absolutely undoubtedly says "NON-TOXIC". I can't get clean screen grab of it, but when Frost says "Yo Hicks" in the medlab (prior to discovering Newt) and Hicks walks over to look at the tracker screen, its clear as day on the Blu Ray. On the DVD not so much, but BluRay shows it pretty clear when you know what your looking for.

Yes confirmed, I remember it on tone of the 2 screen used sets definitely said non toxic

Does anyone know what paracord knot that is that Drake has around his neck. its the same knot as hudson.

I remember terry English telling me he tied the knot on hudsons knife scabbard, he and his brother did quite a bit of the customising I think, I haven't spoken to Terry for a few years.

Tear drop has garnered a lot of different meanings over the years. Also can be a mark of someone who has been err used so to speak the tattoo isn't always voluntary.

So I asked Mark Rolston (via Twitter) about the odd glyph on Drake's glove. His response:

"It was a silhouette in pink paint of a pair of breasts. What was I thinking IDK? James Cameron just threw us into a room to personalize"

Now that he said it I can't believe I'd missed it!

HAHAHA! OK, I remember a few years ago, here, discussing it... My brain thought "That kind of looks like... boobs... Nahhh!" hahaha

Nice one, retro!

"Non-Toxic". It is most clearly visible in the scene where they are in med lab and the motion tracker first picks up Newt.

When Frost says "Yo, hicks". It can be scene as Hicks strolls over to get a look.
