so yes after all done, i will add tender on the edges of the jaws... and the vision is great even with that, cause the part i add on the back don't touch the top of the inside head, so i can see on the edge between the tubes i add, and trought the jaws... really cool,cause i was not sure this will works... i will add pictures later, with me inside to show wher i can see... and i will do the same as with my batman cowl, when putting it on, i will make up my eyes area in black, to hide my white skin parts...lol batnemo http://membres.lycos.fr/aliencostume/ http://membres.lycos.fr/costumebatman/ http://membres.lycos.fr/modelereduit/ |

i will love to scared people...lol so for infos i took pics with my cam, i plan to use some black fabric to cover the eyes area...but as you can see there's not a lot to cover and i can see very well...    this picture below is to show how i can see the cam, and what somebody will see if he looks at me... For the one I wore to SDCC I made cuts in the valleys of the ribbing on the neck for both vision and so I could breath/talk. I was thinking about covering the bottom of the jaw as well but leaving a gap as you did since part of my vision was out the mouth. I still need to do some more work on it. Nice job so far. E... |

I like it - the bottom of the jaw always bothered me on mine. I need to do some work on mine as I have some new lips and tongue (thanks TheBugz). Whats the length of your neck like - mine always seemed a little short? Cheers Jez

Oh, my! That looks FANTASTIC! I've watched your progress, and it's a pleasure to see it all 'come together'! Tail looks good, but I'm wondering - does it just drag behind you? I don't have any suggestions to offer regarding adding animatronics, the fact that it's totally flexible (brilliant idea the PVC segments!) and potentially posable leaves you a number of options. only one day before the convention... i still have some work, but think if all goes well tomorow,it will be a great suit... i will post pics really soon... i add lips,inner jaws,fabrics to hide the eyes, more black latex, a corset ( to be thinner than i am... ) a support for the tail that can be removed easily... jaws tenders...new nails...and cast new teeth in resin... tomorow, i have to cover the back latex, with some kind of clear protection,glue the new teeth, and add something to make it salivate (only a baxter with some tubes that will bring water under the lips on the teeth...) so i will not sleep a lot... batnemo http://membres.lycos.fr/aliencostume/ http://membres.lycos.fr/costumebatman/ http://membres.lycos.fr/modelereduit/ |
