Great . A lot better then what ended up being the movie . While watching the making on the blu ray , I kept saying the original ideas were awesome and they should have stayed with it .

I agree with the previous post. I have really tried to like Prometheus, I have watched it several times now and think I have sussed what it's all supposed to be about. I recently bought the blu ray and have been working my way through all the behind the scenes/production footage/images etc. I think that it's tragic that some of the designs and ideas didn't make it into the final film!! There were some bloody brilliant designs and ideas floating around. I also think it's tragic that it seems to be a trend nowadays in film making to spend so much time/energy/money concentrating on little details like fully working LED screens inside the crew helmets etc when they don't even have a decent story/characters to begin with. (sigh)...such a shame....PROMETHEUS could have been incredible. I do wonder if they'll even bother making the proposed follow up?

Just finished reading the script. Seems like a much more thought out and respectful effort at expanding the mythology we love with some nice nods to what we have previously seen. An enjoyable read. It’s still not perfect or of the grand scale Scott had promised but would have made a much more coherent experience then what we ultimately ended up with!

The movie has two many unsolved over convoluted parts to it.

I do like the script, although it too feels cut down too much - I still feel I would have been let down as with the final on screen product. Although, I'm not sure what would have made it better - certainly NOT the elephantine comic vision (visually).
