 Post subject: Any news if 89's aliens arcade ever coming to psn/xbox

Hey all, is there any word if the 1989 Aliens arcade game will come to the PSN or Xbox live arcade with the up coming release of Aliens Colonial Marines. If not maybe there is some thing we can do about it. I know it was basically Contra with Xenomorphs, but I was my first gaming experience, and my first taste of fraging a xeno. :delta:

It would be great if it was i remember playing this for hours wen i found it in a local arcade simple but great fun to play

yea i hope so also. you can buy a arcade game rig or something like that, that has all of the old school arcade games in them. I have also seen them mod into console games. I myself am trying to win the old school aliens arcade game or aliens extermination that you see at Dave and Busters at arcade auctions. No luck though.

Is this the game with the zombies that throw chestbursters at you? If so, it is one of the most entertaining, if ridiculous games ever made.

Why not just download and play the arcade rom? A simple google search for "Mame emulator" and then some additional looking around will find it and be playable in about 3 minutes. :)

Oh and by the way...Its still great.

Hey all just got the confermation that Lance Henrickson will be lending his voice as the artificial person, and the head of weyland yutani, also be able to turn a pulse rifle on some weyland mercs. Colonial Marines is going to kick ass. ooraha

I doubt it unless Konami still hold a licence for the Aliens franchise. Shame as the game is indeed awesome. I have it on my android pad.
