The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

What about: Simply don't attach it? :)

You can use stripes (with velcro) to put it over the arm vest or the flak vest or ...

@MattRendar: Looking good they you have done it.
@25-Serria: How have you done the cables/connectors (smartgun cam cable to eye part of the SG headset)? Do they go through the chest armor or just along the cam arm?
I'm asking because I still consider using cables & plugs like it's hinted in the tech. man.

along the camera arm. if you look at screen caps and such, they are zip-tied to the arm at the pivot bar between the two arm joints. also, there is a XT female plug on the end of the wire from the battery that i plug the headset cable into. it just tucks under for now. i am planning on permintaly mounting a connector to the sides of the chest armor soon.

Thanks for the quick replies.

The tech. Man. and the HT toy figures show connectors for both audio and video connection, which makes sense.
For the audio part (Beyer mic) I'm currently using a dummy as the mic is connected to a walky talky.
For the video part (Eye toy) I'm still looking for a better solution to make it look like the tech. manual indicates.

BTW: As far as I know the screen used chest plate did not have these connectors.
