The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Its been a while since I played with the PR's and......

I want to ditch the 2 AAA batteries that are powering my counter. Its a static counter, nothing fancy.

During recoil, the AAA's pop out of their holder just enough to not make contact.

The question is, Can I use coin style batteries. If so what ones and one or two? (IE CR2025 etc) What about C a R123?

Thanks guys!

Christian

You'll just have to make sure they add up to the same voltage as the AAAs and it'll work :)

If your counter is using two AAA batteries it's running on 3 volts. You can find 3v coin cells and 1.5v coin cells. Holders fro them can be found at any RadioShack. The main difference is going to be the mAH rating between the two types of batteries. The AAA's will probably have a higher rating meaning a longer run time than the coin cells.

I concur with Robiwon.

CR2032 - that's what I recommend.
