The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I do hope eventually I can upgrade my trousers. I need a 38x34 if anyone has a lead on some.

You'll see it most often on Saturday night of Dragon Con, at and after the Colonial Marine dinner. Those of us in the colour party for the Saturday morning parade is also a large round-up.

Dom: How do those compare to US Army dress green trousers? (I have those in the closet as well)? Wondering if there is an "official" "C" trouser.

Okay a lot of us (including myself) have gone with a Canadian Forces army dress cap for their Service C uniform.

In order for the pants to be a perfect match for the colour of the dress cap, I wear CF army dress pants.

They are a very dark green- like close to charcol black when viewed against a light background (however they are clearly green when held beside something that truly is black).

I don't really want to hijack Retro's thread much further without his approval, but my Service C build thread is in the archives:

I started off with an actual, newly bought, USMC short sleeve khaki shirt. The cut is different, since it does not button up all of the way. I think this makes for a better looking collar, and open appearance... However there isn't any spare material to make screen accurate pocket flaps.

Sgt Bassi AKA Triumph has a spare pair up for grabs, they're small, though.
