The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I know there was a thread and someone posted in it pictures of the watch used by the Marines, along with a pic of the watch Ripley wore. Does anyone know which thread it was, or have the picture itself?

Take a look here:

www.friendly-skies.co.uk/Pulsemeter.html

I'm paying 'handsomely' for one of these (not the yellow button version) if anyone has one. ;)

Unfortunately none of those are the one being looked for.

Ripley wore a different watch to the marines. I remember the thread as well and I also remember looking at a website of some guys who showed the watch as well as a still from the film to compare it. I cant for the life of me find it now though sorry.

Sorry, I didn't read the title obviously! :D

It's annoying me now because I've seen that too somewhere.

Ripley's watch:

Bishop's watch:

These are collectors items even for no-Aliens collectors - so they don't go cheap!

Cheers,

For the record...

The pics of Ripleys watch (both the black/ yellow version
as well as the silver) along with the comparison website and the Pulsemeter pic on F.S.'s website, were all posted on this board and all came from my desktop.

I'd post it all again, but it looks like the question has been answered.

Mine's different from Bugstompers. There's a race-driver's helmet on the strap clasp instead of the SQ thing.
I think I did a couple of pics of it some years back for someone on here.
Mine was cheaper, about £100 about 12 years ago (I think). Needed a service, though, and the 2 batteries that it's had fitted lasted less than a year each. It's currently in a drawer somewhere, unworn & unworking.
$600... Not a bad bit of appreciation there.
