The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'm looking to make a Smart Gunner outfit and I need pepakura files for the armour. I've searched and searched and couldn't find any.

Any help?

I don't think I've ever seen any pepakura Smartgunner armour before. It should be made though!

The smartgun "armour" is actually just the breastplate on the chest and nothing else.

What makes up the majority of the gear is the steadycam harness and vest- as far as I am aware there are no files for that (I don't think it would look right in pepekura anyway).

There is a file someone made (just measurements really) for the breastplate that you could draw, cut and fold onto any piece or cardboard. Unfortunately I'm typing this right before shoving off to work, so I don't have time to look for it (I think it was Ripstick who posted, maybe Matsuo).

Perhaps someone else could take up the torch and look?

If a Search for smart gunner chest plate armor is made, it shows a few more threads with advice/info. :)

But it is literally one piece of cardboard (or sheet metal or whatever) cut, folded and secured. So isn't this just a really big and simple Pep project? 8)

I'm just teasing. I have great respect for folks who can do Pepakura. I don't have the time or the patience I guess!
