Hi Does anyone know what the rate of fire should be for the CYMA thompson and what would be a good battery? I know 8.4 but can you use a higher one? |

Using higher voltage batteries increases the rate of fire, but also increases wear and tear on the stock gears and other internal parts. On my first or second rifle, I put both metal bearings and bushings in mine. Using a stock 8.4v battery I believe the thing had a rate of rife up around 1200 rpm. A fair bit higher than a real Thompson is capable of. |
