Hi
Does anyone know what the rate of fire should be for the CYMA thompson and what would be a good battery? I know 8.4 but can you use a higher one?

Using higher voltage batteries increases the rate of fire, but also increases wear and tear on the stock gears and other internal parts. On my first or second rifle, I put both metal bearings and bushings in mine. Using a stock 8.4v battery I believe the thing had a rate of rife up around 1200 rpm. A fair bit higher than a real Thompson is capable of. :)
