Can anyone verify that the Ithaca M37 'Shorty' was used in Aliens? If so, are there any good airsoft replicas? I'm trying to track down the correct version (for display) so any help would be useful. ![]() --------------------------------- Pulse Rifle Poster |

Guardian Matsuo is the one you seek. His Board He makes a resin Ithaca M37. In fact, I just ordered one today! His products are of excellent quality. Pick up some 10x24mm & 10x28mm rounds & Vaz's pistol while your at it! Cool props Mike A06/TQ0.0.22134E1 There is nothing more impressive than a bloody big Alien wiggling on the end of a sharp stick! |

The Ithaca M37 is Hicks' favourite shotty- it has a pistol grip (contrary to the popular "sawed off" looking grip): This is my airsoft Ithaca: By Dong San (sp?)- it is the closest airsoft version I've seen. The only difference is Hicks' Ithaca had a forward iron sight: I got mine from www.modelmarts.com back in 2002. Hope this helps! Thanks, Kevin. Are they still trading? Also, what about the barrel - is it filled like I see in a few of the product shots? ![]() Mark --------------------------------- Pulse Rifle Poster |

The barrel has a concave "funnel" that tapers down to the 6mm pellet barrel. You have to register to buy anything- I haven't bought from them in 5 years so I can't really say if they are still selling. However I'm sure you should be able to find a Dong San Ithaca elsewhere. ![]() Kevin "I know I'm human. The Dong San isn't very powerful but for the price it's pretty well made. I bought one a while ago and ended up putting it inside my hero morita shell. Jon |

A little sandpaper and a coat of primer should give you enough of a surface for the paint to grab onto. Russ ![]() |
