Hi all

Due to having a lul at work today, I started a locator like hicks shows Ripley when he gives her the watch trackor thingy, and just wondered what colour it was meant to be.

In the screen shots it looks black, but when you notice the cap at the base, this then seems black the top sort of looks a dark grey, or greenish grey.

I didn’t know if there was a proper colour, or anything goes sort of thing. If there is a proper colour all the better as stuff then matches.

I have one and the top and base sections are black but the body is brown bess.

Indeed the screen shots are dark and its not too clear but the colors on mine look great.

Anyone else got anymore incites?

Hi all

Brown bess it is then. However as brown bess is like chickens teeth to buy, I'll try the Vallejo Model Color which they claim is the same colour.

If anyone can take a picture of there locator outside in daylight, but not direct sunlight i can try and compare once painted. post here or send to me via e-mail
