The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Before I begin, let me acknowledge that I have too many projects on the go all at once. My 1:1 facehugger, my pulse rifle, my Colonial marine helmet based on a real tin-pot and last but not least, this...a 1:1 scale Alien warrior head. (Not to mention the life-size Poltergeist Clown I have sculpted and the 1:350 USS Enterprise I am 80% through building, but those things are way OT). I wish I had more spare time....

Anyway, on with a pic. Here it is lightly primed, minus lower jaw:

I'm hoping this will be an awesome display piece in my TV room when I'm finished - I'll post progress pics as I go.

I haven't sculpted this, it's a fibreglass cast from an actual Aliens head I acquired. I am resculpting many areas though to tidy them up, for this project I'll use milliput (always a favourite of mine) and car body filler (bondo) to smooth the larger areas.
