The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Typical Murphy's law at play here. The moment I give in and buy some multicam is when things really start to get "real" for legit options.

Don't go 100% by the colors in the photo. It's a very crappy camera phone pic. I'll take some good ones in good light this week to show the actual colors.

I will ask the girlie question... what are the chances of getting three yards or so for a corset/pencil skirt set?

Thanks! Here's a better pic (or as good as the iPhone takes) of the yardage in better light so you can see the actual colors:

And a close-up:

And I'll be posting a For Sale thread in the PX in a moment to sell the raw yardage for anyone interested!

That looks amazing!

I would offer you my mortal soul for a set but I think I traded that for beer a long time ago

Again looking wonderful, youve got two sales right here as soon as you have a price!

I am working on some 'geek skirts' for wearing at conventions (think 'a line' and 'pencil' skirts made from character fabric) and this idea would rock

Thanks! We're calling this one "Pattern C". It's going to be as close to what the actors wore on set as possible. We'll also be offering other versions that are closer to what we saw on screen and others that are super reinforced for Paintballing and Airsofting.

Yes to helmet covers and helmet pouches. No plans to sell the patterns anytime soon.

Patterns?

Come on guys.

Sorry, I've been asked this question a lot lately.

People spend a lot of time developing these items, so if you are interested buy them or not.

Spat is kind enough to offer raw yardage.

If you are looking to save a few bucks by buying 3 yards and making it yourself,

I suggest cut open a pair of 501s and a bdu top, and start there.

Don't ask someone to hand over all their leg work.

How much time was spent working on that pattern? And how much do you have to charge to make your time worthwhile for selling the pattern? I spent 3 months off and on working on mine, so the figure would be in the thousands of dollars. It's the very intellectual property that this entire project is based on, before someone drops the huge investment on material costs.

So, I wouldn't expect anyone to sell that.
