i went back to my old flat yesterday to collect some things and in amongst my stuff were these, i must admit i forgot all about them and they have been sitting in the flat for the past 3 years ![]() first up the Helmet I bought this in either 1991 or 1993 cant remember which or even where i bought them from i do remember being told at the time it was a stunt helmet ??? it cost me about £130 if i recall ![]() The helmet itself is a proper steel one with dents on the top roughly where the crown of your head would be. The camera (which was originally brown, but i repainted as a kid because i wasnt keen in the brown colour at which time i was sure it was grey lol ) The lobster plates do have a green foam padding on the back but its not the roll matt stuff its just like a very hard sponge. the actuall plate is not metal and im a little unsure what its made from to be honest ![]() The Ear peice has a solid ear bit rather than a foam one but it is hollow so your ear sits inside. There is no IR sight or even maks where one could have been, and there is no Surname on the back of it. Heres the Pics......... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now for the pulse rifle After i bought the Helmet i saved up again and got the Pulse this was in 1994 and cost £100 again i cant remember where from (possibly the same shop/seller ) but it was listed as a "background prop" Its made from resin and is quite heavy there was no ammo counter just a black section so i painted the 94 in to show what year i purchased it in when i recieved it its about the same size as my G&P one, on the left side just above the grenade launcher there is some damage that you can see in the pic. ![]() ![]() any help on these would be appreciated Cheers Coop |

Hey Dan, It's likely that you bought these from Fiction & Fantasy Models in London back then as they were notorious for selling built-up garage kits and claiming they were "from the original movie moulds". The helmet may have been made by our very own Mike Rush. Mike made a few replica helmets back in the day referenced from an original helmet in my collection. Is there anything written inside the helmet when you remove the liner? Harry |

It does look like one of mine, although it's seen better days! I made a few of these (the add-ons were fibreglass) and sold some to Fiction & Fantasy Models. Unfortunately the person who ran it tried to swindle me - so that was the end of that. If he claimed that it was from the film then I suppose I should be flattered, but that's exactly the kind of unscrupulous thing he used to do. I say 'used to'... as far as I know he's still on eBay, still calling everything "from original movie moulds". I don't think he knows what it means. ![]() |

Yep, that's one of the things that would mark it as mine. It's the eleventh helmet I made. Does it have matching numbers on top of the liner and inside the helmet? |
