Willie, off the top of my head that looks like footage in the 'B-roll' section on the Aliens audio-visual press kit video that was released to promote the film. The Smart Gun looks like it's a rehearsal dummy made from a sheet of (probably) plywood and painted black. From what the AD is saying at the end of the clip it looks like they were still adjusting Drakes Steadicam harness.
