Hey all! I just love all these films, even Alien 3 (which most regular people seem to hate, but that just makes me question their taste!) Anyhoozle, I am trying to make my first replica ever - of Hudson's Colonial Marine helmet. I have the M-1 helmet and liner, and the camera. But I am really needing a source for the lobster plates. Anybody know who I can buy these from? Thanks! And Cheers! Andy |

I actually asked Spat about lobster plates just a week agao. He said he may sell them on their own at some point in the future, but for now they are only available with his helmets. I'm building my own right now, using the same method as Simon (88reaper88) and I'm pretty happy with the results. I have a Spat camera for the side, but I'm still gathering bits for the microphone and ear piece. What are you using for these parts? |

Thanks for all the great info, everybody Retrogarde - I have a replica camera coming. I haven't gotten far enough to think about the mike and earpiece. But now that I'm thinking about it, I suspect it may be pretty easy with a pair of earphones and an ear-clip mike. |

Does anybody have a link to the pepakura files for Aliens armor? Been googling for a bit and haven't had any joy. |

Here's most of them, although I don't know if the lobster plates are included. I did a quick search but didn't see them: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11384 |

In some photos of the microphone there is a small silver sticker on the back end. Does anybody have a close-up shot of this? What does it say? Also, where does the black cable connect to (besides the back end of the microphone)? The ear protector? |
