The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

:delta: I am thinking of combining my old Mar Pat BDUs with with my future USCM armor build project. Any thoughts on that idea?

Seeming how this isn't a reenactment group or anything like that, it all comes down to personal preference. What do you like best? Personally, I don't think any sort of woodland type camo goes with Colonial Marine armor. But that's just me. Whatever makes you happy, bud!

I think those would look great with OD armor especially. Or even go screen accurate colors with big fat sweeping swatches.
I'm in the camp that it all looks better when there is some contrast between the BDU and armor.
But as far as what 'fits', that's all you. Sky is the limit for the campaign specific needs of your creation.

As everyone knows... I always love an opportunity to use this photo...

Here are galleries where I use both woodland and desert Marpat uniforms.

Holy 2006 Batman! :)

I've since switched from soft cloth armor to hard body armor, to prevent such things from occurring in the future.

:)

IMHO, I think the Multicam looks okay with a "traditional" USCM paint style on the armor.
Whatever floats your boat I guess. :)
