I've searched and found various types, including different makes and sole patterns, so was wondering what people know as to what's screen accurate?

Looks like Altama are out of stock on the sahara jungle
boot. Unfortunately, they are not making them anymore.

U want the one with the vibram sole. They look like a
work boot sole. (not the chunky vulcanized sole)

Search "Altama Jungle Sahara" online, maybe some
retailers still have them.



I think the wiki will help this kind of question. I think I've

Okay, so reading what everyone says here, I'm looking for:

Altama Jungle Sahara Boot
Vibram/Panama sole (fine tread, not chunky work boot type)
OD Canvas/Nylon upper

So the Genesco ones I linked to look the ones to go for.

There is a paintball shop in rochester that sells army stuff... its tucked away...parade of shops near the city wall pub resturant....

I know where that row of shops are, so will have a look during this week.

There's an ebay seller who regularly has them in their ebay store. That's where I got mine...under $30.

I've been wearing just some all-black generic military-type boot with my USCM gear for the past two years... but I finally got lucky and found some boots that are darn near screen-accurate except for the soles -- and they fit me!

Found these Altama's at a semi-local (1.5 hours away) military surplus store for $30.00...

They also had these Wellco's (also a government manufacturer) for $30.00 as well...

I'm really starting to like the sawtooth pattern sole on the Wellco's. I'm thinking those really fit the whole future Marine battlegear footwear ideal.

Now keep in mind... these are not the regular retail prices for these boots. These boots brand-new and in-the-box typically run between $90.00 and $130.00 USD. The ones I picked up above happen to be factory blems at blow-out prices.
