Would anyone happen to have a picture of how FNG/Chris had the carrying strap attached to his welder that he sold way back? I'm in the final stages of putting mine together and would like a visual on where to put the strap. |

Initially I was going to use the same clip system as for SW light sabres, but the detailing on the welder prevented the clip from fitting into the belt part, so I ended up fixing a strap like this: ![]() But having it hanging from a strap means it swings around a lot when you're walking, so I just hold mine in my gas bag now. |

Here's a pic of one of Chris' welders that I picked up from AirborneMike here in the PX. ![]() The strap is attached using a sling swivel mount and a hand grenade pin ring (any key ring type thing will work) |

Another question, would anyone have the picture, or have a way of going back in time and getting the picture of how Chris suggested modifying the hinge for the view screen? I think the mod involved a picture frame bracket? I have said bracket but I'd like to see how he did it. |

I'd thought Chris's priceless tutorials and pics of his personal armor camo pattern had been lost to us for all time. Now I finally have the definitive photo refs I needed to accurately paint the armor on the 1:6 scale FNG memorial figure project we started several years ago!!! Thanks so much for posting that link, Kevin. You rock big time! |
