The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

IMHO Canvas is cannon for slings and grenade straps. They just have "The look."

I used one of the 2 gal. canteen straps for a few years until I got one of Noble's.

I see a sling run happening soon....

A one roll of webbing run that is.

If I remember correctly that 37ish pieces.

After that, I'm taking a extended vacation from slings.

i also use a canteen strap. even with a Matsuo pulse with airsoft rifle, holds up great. AND never pops off!

cant say the same for the strap on the motion tracker though. it opens up randomly sometimes. i blame the buckles and operator error.....

The "canteen strap" that's on the 2qt U.S. canteen, is the nylon "G.P. Strap". I have both 1950s canvas G.P. Straps, and 1980s/1990s nylon G.P. Straps available. They're NOS, and will only have minor storage wear, if at all. (Well, the nylon straps came out in the 70s, but I can't confirm the dates on my nylon straps.)

I don't mean to try to undersell Noble, it's just that I've been selling 20th century military for years now, to reenactors, and I have these actual issue straps at the lowest prices available. They're darn close to the straps that were used in the movie, but they're not the same. That's where Noble comes in.

I bought a canteen strap on eBay (not trying to step on Aaron's toes - if I had known Aaron sold them I would've preferred to go with his) and it's a good substitute until the next Noble run.
