Post subject:  Rexim-Favor Blueprints?

Does anyone have or know were I can find accurate Rexim-Favor blueprints?

Looking to scratch build one and don't want to re-invent the wheel if I don't have to, know what I mean.

If nothing else some basic measurments on the main gun components is all I need.

Thanks.

So if no one has any measurements on the gun, does anyone know the length of the Single Point Scope?

With that I can easly scale out the gun.

Sorry,
can't help you with either of that. However, I know there is a kit of the Nostromo gun as well as of the trooper gun. Have a look here:

I know about the kits.
But why pay hundreds of dollars for something when I can scratch build one for free.

Actually, the Rexim casting is $115.00. Now if you're going the scratch built route, you're looking at even less, probably only around $20-30 worth of materials. I can however tell you that in terms of the man hours putting it all together I had in just over 50 hours on it, which was just for the Rexim. That time was spent equally on research, scaling, building, machining, etc, and but doesn't include the time for molding and those materials. The scope stuff isn't in there either.

If you love to build things for yourself (as I do), then I definitely say go that route.

Good luck and I hope you can share some pics!

Thanks for your input.
I do prefer to make things when at all possible.
More satisfaction that way.:D

If I need machining I know someone that works in a shop.
I may already have pieces that will work for the front and back detailing.

Found a reference to the length of the scope and have now scaled out a side view of the gun.
