The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I find his voice relaxing.

Then he got to mimicking Spunkmeyer in the wake-up scene and I started giggling.

Also knocked out my calm "I'm coming in" Gorman. This one won't be for sale. I plan to keep him in my quest to get the full squad. Hope to make an injured Gorman eventually too.

-Head is actually a mcfarlane baseball player
-M65 jacket from neca kick ass 'col stars and stripes'
-Thighs from Rambo first blood (so hard to get legs without cargo pockets! His jeans worked)
-Lower legs from Rambo 3 figure.
-arms and hands from Windrix

Mangled a lot of stuff for this one!

Wow, this is the best Gorman I've seen so far. I have been hoarding lots of neca fodder for when the Lt is next on my list, I've got the kickass 2 Jim Carey figures, and the Rambos, I was eyeballing the T1000 figures for parts too. Rambo really does have some excellent jungle boots for this purpose.

Been thinking, if NECA gets Mr. Hope's likeness for an official Gorman figure, they could take advantage of having it and give us a Marshal Waits if they revisit Isolation.

My suggestion is pairing him with a Working Joe. Seen lots of people ask for a Joe, so it could potentially work.

Have you all seen the Neca Kenner Drake, I imagine with some of your guys modelling skills it wouldn’t be hard to make into a more accurate version!

I never did get around to finishing this guy. Gonna have to sell him as well. Here was my start for a "Frosty Harrison" from the old computer game "AvP 2".

I dig it a lot, just ran out of bodies and not really willing to buy more to finish. Maybe someone else can finish him.
He was fun with the huge knife and so many pouches. Sometimes I like the video game twists on this stuff.

I am no longer a NECA virgin.

My best friend surprised me with this little fella when we met in person for the first time a couple days ago.

I've been enjoying him quite a bit.

He finally has some slippers. :P

Saw this for NECA's next round of figures for their Alien line. Looks we're going to have the whole crew soon!

Anyone have issues with putting shoulder lamps in the backs of their figures? I haven't been able to line up the armor slot with the back slot on Hudson, and I've been moving the armor around as best I can. Not sure if this means he has no slot or I'm being too gentle with him. Any advice?

Could be the holes in Hudsons back isn't big enough?

I'm not even sure he has one. I spent most of the last hour trying to move the armor around, and it wouldn't budge much. Someone suggested removing the armor, but I don't have the tools to do that, or even drill into his back.

Not even sure if this is a second-hand figure. My boyfriend got him off of Amazon still in the original box.

I've always had a little bit of trouble keeping his lamp on him, the hole in the armor & the hole in his back aren't lined up properly so it keeps popping back out.

agreed with rumple, necas great but the final product isnt quite the same as the prototype. Most figures ive had are wonky in some way.
Id probably take a flashlight and try to pry the armor up and see where the plug is.
my hudson is the second version that was in the two-pack with hicks, the hole is lined up perfectly.
If there is zero hole in yours then its probably a counterfeit. which are just as good from what ive seen.
made from the same molds, same paint ect, sometimes a little wonky because of less quality control. could definitely mod it if need be, they also sell really tiny neodymium magnets, could be a sweet project.

I had a couple figures actually with glue overflow around the shoulder pads, which permanently mounted his body armor in a position that didn't line up with the lamp hole. It appeared at first glance that it had no hole. Upon prying around with a screw driver under the body armor, I found the glued down spot and forced it apart. The body armor could then be manipulated into position to line up with the hole.

You could also try warming the figure and armor with a hair dryer set on "hot"....be sure to hold it about 8 to 10 inches away and move it slowly back and forth over the area for a few minutes. This should make the plastic pliable enough that you can move things around and see what's-what.

I played around with spare NECA bodies and armor parts to make a Drake in movie camo. Not screen accurate, but the guy blends into my movie style marines way better now.

Anyone notice that the new "Ash" figure looks more like Trevor Steedman than it does Ian Holm?

Might need to grab one and update my custom Ski figure! Unless of course they are already stupid expensive...like they are bound to be as the Ash wave was a walmart exclusive and not widely available.
