The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Not as exciting, but for those who are interested, here are NECA's Prometheus figures:

Should the canvas on the boots be more greenish in colour on the Hudson?

I can't believe I'm actually typing this as the rest of the figure looks amazing, but the colour did jump out at me!

No man, an 18" Hudson or Hicks! Just so we have a Colonial Marine to go with the 18" Alien, Predator and Terminator from NECA.

NECA makes 1:4 Maquettes for all their figures (kinda like ADI) and is the reason behind the release of the Predator ones, so.... fingers crossed!!

Faced with a room full of Xeno's that want to rip my head off I think I'd be a little tearful as well!

Maybe the expression is due to telling him about Prometheus? :P

I also noticed that, yet I feel they captured the essence. More than just a 'snapshot' from a specific scene, they convey his vibe as complaining & miserable, yet able to kick ass when wrangled and set to a purpose.

I just hope they come with freaking helmets. Ticked me off when the macfarlane hicks shipped the regular figure without one.

There'll probably be another head or another version with a different sculpt. Many of the Hellraiser, Kill Bill, Tomb Raider, Labyrinth and Evil Dead figures had spare heads and alternerate versions of the same base figure. :)

Maybe so if you zoom in on the picture and check out the join line which extends rearwards from the corner of his jaw below his ear it looks like the head could well be either articulated or removable.

Also agree about Hudson's demeanour when things look really bad with no way out then he gets a bit overwhelmed when given a direction and purpose by decent leadership he returns to Ultimate Badass mode!

I second this. I really, really hope they include helmets. Not so much with Hicks, but Hudson wears his helmet throughout the majority of the movie. Hicks not so much.
