Are the white outlines around the keys raised? I have...ideas... Also, if anyone has a real one they are willing to part with, lets talk |

I think they're barely raised at all, with the whole keypad being a sheet of thin plastic. See here: ![]() Another (much bigger) pic of a similar model SL87: http://androo.smugmug.com/photos/370053538_V7W6q-D.jpg |

Right, but you can feel them when you run your fingers over them? Also, do the keys push? Like tactile? Can you feel them "click"? |

No, you don't feel them 'click' at all. You can barely feel any depression of the key at all. |

I'm going to try to duplicate the keypad, raised outlines, texture, everything. They're hard to find! Sometimes at work I have to duplicate things like this, so I think it will be a good exercise. If I can pull it off, it might as well benefit my MT, right? I'm assuming the scans that are availiable are accurate? I found a couple using the forum search. |

Yes... the Casio SL-85 is the only CORRECT version for the screen-used Motion Tracker keypad. Both earlier and later Casio versions are indeed similar, and some nearly identical -- but only the SL-85 is truly correct. ![]() This link is the best resource for photos regarding the Casio SL-85 and disassembly of the keypad: LINK: Prop Parts: Motion Tracker Keypad (was:Found item discovery) Although many of the embedded photos in that thread are dead, the best and most important ones are still there on page two. Thanks Harry! |
