Considering all the good advice it gave them on how to kill the alien I think I wouldve called it a "mother" as well!

In Alien what did mother stand for or was it simply what they called the ships computer, Also what model computer was used for mother? |

I am led to believe that the box for the security key that Dallas uses reads: MU-TH-UR Computer Series 6000 M I have no idea what it means either. |

What does FA-TH-UR mean also??? I'm guessing the TH-UR are the same, and they made up some techno speak for the rest so it would fit in with MU-TH-UR????? Maybe even something as simple as a product name? |
