It's good to read that the audience will be watching a newly struck print. At the
Somerset House outdoor screening of
Aliens earlier this year ('06) we knew the print was pretty scratched up but it wasn't until the dropship flies away from the explosion on LV426 at the end of the film that we realised just how bad it was.
At the pinnacle of the blast the screen is supposed to white out, but on that print it looked almost black due to the amount of dirt & scratches on it.
