The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Pelican case. It is actually an inch or so too short. The case was about 400 or so.

The case.

I would recommend getting this case:

Mind you I spent hours upon hours trying to locate this.

Matty built the gun. I am just stuffing electronics on it and trying to add a tad more accuracy. The key is to factor in 80s level tech.

I am halfway thinking that as we move out to the stars we will have some technological regression as we fall back on more reliable and solid electronics and equipment setups that have infinitely easier field repair options.

The issue I kept running into was that most of the parts are unavailable, expensive, or only found in museums. 3-d printing is alleviating some of that, but still.

I will post the wiring pinout for the handlebar electronics for lights and sounds this week. I am keeping the trigger aeg function separate from the trigger and light sounds.

The foam was purchased from Knoxville Foam and Fabric. You can paint white foam, but the outfit is one of the cheapest locations for sealed foam, cushion foam, which I used.

They do ship and are very reasonable. I was told that an electric steak knife is very good at cutting the foam.

If you need a Magura lever let me know. It’s a long one but the price is right! :)

I'm confused, the case in the photo seems plenty long enough for your SG. Did you mean it isn't high enough as in:

yes, internal height is about an inch too short. I have made it work though.
