my screw that attaches to the hook bracket had its threads stripped and thus will not stay in anymore. anyone have an idea how i can go about fixing this? the lamp stays on my armor fine, i just would like it to stay on a little more secure and not worry about it being ripped off by accident. |

If you're talking about the bolt that goes into the side of the main lamp housing, you could try glueing (with a weld-type glue or epoxy) a nut on the inside of the housing and then use a different bolt to screw into that? I did a similar thing in putting an additional bolt through the middle of the housing; viewtopic.php?p=44382#p44382 ![]() I stuck extra nuts around the one I was going to screw into to hold it tighter and hopefully reduce the stress on any turning force. I used a two part epoxy as the glue. |

funny thing, found a wood screw that was lying around on the workbench and tried it. fits great and make a nice snug post for the slot anchor arm. |
