Thank you all so much! Your words and compliments mean so much to me! I also need to give a huge shout out and thank you to Steve Radler whom without him, I never would have gotten this armor. He also helped me along the way with advice and support and came through with the most awesome stuff ever for me to use to weather my armor !
I appreciate all your input. I agree- the blush I generally try and do more than usual when taking pics but will keep it in mind when I do more and when I troop. I also do plan to dirty up myself with some Fuller's when I troop on Sunday. The nails I know, they are over the top LOL! But I wanted pretty nails for Comic Con

I will be shortening them when I get back for work and so they won't be so crazy for my next pics. I may even file them a little before trooping. Also, I'll leave my rings off in my next photoshoot too. Great advice everyone! Gotta look salty!
@Ttaskmaster- thank you! I do remember that thread and I thank you so much! I love doing stuff like this. It may not show off my curves as nicely and I must admit, the pants with my tight leg armor is not so flattering for my size, but I look bad ass and I love it!!! I gotta giggle about the sleeves- no military experience, just looked at Hicks and how he had his. Not to mention, the sides of the armor stick out a lot and dig into my arms so the rolling gives me some padding there and makes it more comfortable.
@SSgt Burton Yup, I remember and I'm almost sure I saw you guys at my first D*con and fell in love in '04. Been a long road but totally worth it! And I can totally paint up those quick release buckles no problem! As for my paint numbers. I did a lot of reading on here and talked with Radler, did some testing and comparisons on my own as well. I completely disagreed with #30 for the green- it is way too close to 91 (the black green) and looked awful on my armor. So I used 76 for the green. Once weathered it looked perfect. Took Radler's advice after originally using 160 for the brown I changed to 186 and am pleased with the result. I did not use 110 for the yellow- too tan in my opinion although I do believe Hudson's armor (I think it was his) may have used this color as it is different than some of the other armor. I went with 63 for the yellow instead. Looks way to yellow on but once weathered I feel it is dead on. I used 91 for the black green and 147 for the light grey accents. I used Heavenly Hues in black( discontinued but Radler sent me some) for all the weathering.
@ Bug Stomper- We tried not to add a thick layer of the bed roll padding, but tried to keep it screen accurate. Will see how it goes on Sunday but felt quite comfortable yesterday surprisingly! But after trooping all day with that heavy pulse rifle slung around, I might feel different LOL!
@Dropshipbob A lot of things. The armor just sat for a very long time. Life got in the way, work, etc. We started working on it again after Comic Con last year, then it sat again. Not until maybe- Feb? this year did we break it out again and really hit it hard. I've been working pretty much daily since maybe April to get it finished. So it really didn't take that long, just took that long for me to get off my arse and get it done
