The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Is this a screen-accurate VP70 replica?

www.modelguns.co.uk/h&k_vp70.htm

Or is the TK better?

:)

I saw a good B&W still of Frost and Dietrich where you could see the VP-70 real good. The "grip lines" on the slide were vertical as opposed to the diagonal ones shown in the link you provided, which is also how the majority of the resin kits are (including mine).

But I seem to recall someone on here saying both kinds were used in the film?

Hope that helps. :)

That's the MGC-Version and thus the screen accurate VP70 (without M or Z!). The TK is not accurate as it has the slide of the VP70 (which would be correct) and the frame of a VP70M (which is missing the thumb rest).

Cheers,
Stefan

Holy crap  $360 USD for a replica.
I paid $550 Cdn for my real VP70Z last year. If anyone wants, I can post some pix of my pistol.

Fortunately, I paid much less than that. :)
