hi all, i posted about this about 6 months ago, but the few replys i got i didnt notice for sometime as i dont frequent here much these days. mainly over at scifimilitary. but heres whats all here... what ive got here is MAA M3 armor. as most of you know...awsome stuff. i hardly started on it by painting and assembleing it. and customized it to fit me a little bit better, (im about size medium) repaired some cracks that occured durring shipping. overall, theyre not bad and an easy fix im sure if you know what your doing. but please dont get me wrong...this is a project. the kit doesnt include a "helmet kit" as i entended to build my own from scratch. i will throw in a real usgi vietnam steel pot helmet; a color "spy cam" kit for making a real helmet cam, "lil buggered up" pentax lens housing, camo helmet cover, orange dart vp70, vp70 holster and one of my custom combat suspenders. i kept changing my mind, keep it, dont keep it. but ive got a few other projects i have to fund. still asking $450 plus shipping, because of all the extras i threw in. I hate to do it but its gotta go. first one with asking price, or best offer gets it. Thanks for looking, please email: reed.rupp AT us.army.mil i23.photobucket.com/album...IM1082.jpg i23.photobucket.com/album...IM0450.jpg Edited by: at: 5/4/07 2:18 am |

I wouldn't sell that if I were you, if it gets in the wrong hands, you'll get placed on the "MAA blacklist". Or get a bunch of whacky PM's. Or if you're lucky...both. |

im tempted by this but do you have better photos of the armor you can post? Id like to see more detailed pics of the torso armor if possible. Good pics always help an item sell more easily. |

I care because it caused a friend of mine to abandon this board and it deserves to be known what a crack pot Steve is. I'll leave it at that. |

Quote: Quote:Shhhh... don't talk about it. Ask me in Atlanta.... I'll tell you. If you're nice. Well, hopefully, anyway. Money's getting tight and I'm starting to worry about being able to finish the smartgun rig in time for DC ![]() Oh, and I'm still waiting to hear back from MAA about whether or not I'll be sending off the twill camos I got to another customer and getting a set in rip-stop like I originally wanted. Ya know, after paying $200 for a set of freaking BDUs, I would have expected a little less jumping through hoops to get a set that's in the material I wanted and actually fits me. Dunno where he got his sizing chart from but it's whacked. But, whatever. Fingers crossed. <span style="font-family:courier;]PFC Sean "Romeo" Maio A01/TQ2.0.72156E1 Orlando, FL, USAEdited by: at: 5/7/07 5:44 pm |

Sorry to hear you are having problems. You've paid though so make sure you get what you wanted. Customer is always right. I have a friend here in OKC who is looking for armor. He is larger so not sure if the Spat would fit comfortably. Can you please PM or e-mail and I'll ask him some questions to see if he is interested and get back to you. Not sure if he'd want to put the work into strapping it up but I can help and I'm happier chopping up other peoples stuff ![]() |
