I know this has been talked about before im a new recruit and on a budget just looking for a alternative to the movie camo bdu's spat,chef,horpat etc. There all very good uniforms but like i said im on a budget would like to get feedback on what everyone started with or good starter tips thanks.

I originally started with desert Marpat, moved on to MultiCam, and then the CM frog & leaf.

I actually saw some "hicks cosplay" bdu's on ebay for about what Polish Desert would set me back

I think the Polish Desert to me looks the closest to the movie camos and I got a pair for about 99 bucks.

Both spat and chef do very good BDUS they are how ever expensive

Almost passable as marine camo for another climate or something?

Colours are nothing like the original, but there's similarities. I too have seen much worse! ;)
