The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ran across these two in the grocery store the other day. The body is wrong but, the business end is correct. :D

Nice find Tom. Maybe the same company as the originals. The end is the same as you say and the handles but just a bit of a redesign on the bodies by the look of it.

Thanks!! I wish that there was a way for me to see my own expression when I realized what they were. I remember doing a double take. That is for sure.

I've got one of the original style poppers. It is an Edison Giocattoli product made in Italy. This item is stamped 'made in china' but packaged by FUNTASTIC out of Houston, Texas. If we have any board members in the area, please consider finding this operation and scoring some loot for the fellas. :D

it's called the "belt tool" in Aliens some marines have it, some dont, i think frost had 4?

no one knows what they are for, some say medical injector, some say part of a gun, some say remote controll like a Claymore clacker

i think the marines between takes had fun shooting each other with em

You should post these FS on the RFP. Some joker is trying to get $90 for ONE original. I got an original from a member here for like, $15. :)

For anyone wanting visual reference...here you go.

My originals from Tony and Stephen:

And a pic of the prop (from Willie's site)

You can swap the center tube into the four-barrel model to make an accurate belt tool. I'll have to keep an eye out, I have a handful of the 4-barrel ones I'd like to convert.

Sent it again Tom...but Ill ask here just in case.

Did you get a paypal payment from me?? PP has been messed up for some reason. I tried to send Mike Rush a payment for a pin, and kept getting an error when I tried to send him money. I know I sent you one that day I got the PM, but I dont think it went through...I didnt get the email, nor is it listed in my activity.
Mike told me PP was screwy lately..so I just had to log into PP and enter his address...for some reason I couldnt use the "pay now" option through eBay.
Just let me know so I can resend if I have to.

Not a problem, Derek. Tech poo-poo has a tendancy to farble up sometimes.

Could this be Funtastic?
www.toydirectory.com/FuntasticToys/

Their zip is listed as 77008, but on the package in Tom's photo, it looks like it's either 72007 or 77007?

Went back to the grocery store today and did an extensive search this time. I found one more hidden under a mess of toys. :D

I got to meet the manager of the impulse items / toys inventory for that store today. Although she could not give me any guarantees...

... I placed an order for another 50 units. :P
